(More customer reviews)My dog is a terrier beagle mix, he's small but not a "toy". The medium size is perfect for him. He took right to it, less than five minutes and he was curled up sleeping. The inner pouches zip tight and are even the same pattern as the outside cover. Definitely worth the price paid here. Heavy duty zippers and stitching and the cover is tough thick nylon. When the inner bedding settles they can be "fluffed" back up easily and it stays that way for quite a while before you have to re-fluff. Will be getting one for my in-laws St. Bernard soon.
