(More customer reviews)If your dog sheds, you are crazy not to spend your money on the furminator (unless of course, you can afford to pay someone to do it for you on a regular basis).This is by far the best brush/shedding tool I have encountered.It takes some time to completely brush the dog of all loose fur, but the results are amazing and last quite a while with only minimal maintenance required by you.My yellow labs coats are silkier, thinner and smoother after brushing with the furminator.I find it so much more effective than the shedding blade and zoom groom I have used in the past (though I still highly recommend using zoom groom while shampooing).

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased the 2 pack (which, by the way, is a fantastic deal)and I really like it. It takes off a ton of fur with every swipe. It is so much easier than using a comb or brush. They don't seem to mind it as much either, no tangles or clumps which can pull and upset them.I wish I could get the kitties to stand still a little longer, so I could use it for a longer period of time and get more fur. I reccomend it for anyone with fuzzy & furry 4 legged friends.

(More customer reviews)The FURminator works much better than any other brand pet comb we tried (including Hartz and the ionizing types) for removing loose cat hair. We have used this for over a year now and can see a real difference in the amount of hair in the house (and in the vacuum cleaner) when we go for any length of time without using it.

Pros:
+ Solid build with a good grip and metal teeth
+ Gets a lot of hair with each pass
+ Easy to clean
+ The cats like it to be used on them

Cons:
- Somewhat pricey, but it should last a very long time and it keeps the hairballs down

The FURminator is a great product that really performs as advertised!

When I used this on my two cats, they looked like they had gotten a haircut afterwards. I could pet them again without having loose hair fall off of them. Every pet owner should have a Furminator. Just beware of the massive amounts of fur that will come off of your pet; be ready to jump in the shower after you're done using this thing.
