I don't know if it's because the fleas are so bad this year, but the Advantage has not taken care of all the fleas on my two cats, and I had to add Capstar pills to get rid of them.As for the purchasing experience, everything was fine.

Frontline Plus for Cats 12 month Review

Frontline Plus for Cats 12 month

In my household of several cats, many of whom enjoy going outdoors (and bringing occasional things inside, including fleas), we need something to keep the pests (the fleas, not the cats) under control. Frontline is one of the better products available for this purpose.

I've tried other solutions - flea collars, products from other sources, and have only found one other item that matches the Frontline effectiveness for eliminating fleas. Within a day of the first use, the cats had stopped scratching and licking incessantly at their fleas. One of my cats is particularly allergic to fleas, and breaks out with sores at the flea bites - for him, Frontline is nothing short of a miracle.

I have known cats to have serious reactions to the flea drops from some companies. My cats have had absolutely no bad reactions to the Frontline applications.

This is a product I will definitely buy again. My cats give this a big 16 paw salute (four cats, four paws each, you get the drift).

Product Description:
Designed for cats and kittens eight weeks or older, this easy-to-apply flea treatment provides long-lasting, effective control against fleas, ticks, and chewing lice. The fast-acting remedy kills 98 to 100 percent of adult fleas within 24 hours, before they lay eggs. Its active ingredient fipronil (kills newly acquired adult fleas) has been combined with the trusted insect growth regulator (S)-methoprene, which kills flea eggs, larvae, and prevents pupae development. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, and continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in long-lasting activity against fleas and all stages of four major ticks, including the one that may carry Lyme disease. Research demonstrates that a monthly treatment kills adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae (preventing development of all flea stages) for up to six weeks and kills ticks for at least one month. Easy to use, simply apply contents of the applicator through the animal's fur to the skin level between the shoulder blades. Achieve maximum protection with monthly applications, all year round, but be sure not to apply twice within 30 days. Each packet includes 12 topical applications for 12 months of protection.

Sentry Natural Defense Natural Flea and Tick Squeeze-On for Cats and Kittens Review

Sentry Natural Defense Natural Flea and Tick Squeeze-On for Cats and Kittens
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I really wish I had looked this product up online before I purchased it at a local chain petstore. It says that it's all natural, so I thought what could be wrong with that? After reading all the bad reviews I've seen about this product, why is it even offered for sale? My experience with it? I applied it to all 3 of our indoor cats about a week ago. Immediately, the strong spicy fumes were irritating my cats' eyes and mine. It also made my sinuses go crazy for at least 2 days. My cats are indoor only so no way to diffuse the smell at all, I ran the ceiling fans to no avail. The odor is still lingering a week later as well as the yucky oily residue on the cats' necks. Now nobody wants to pet them due to the oil slick and the stink. The cats still seem to have irritated eyes from the fumes. I honestly can't say it's even killing any fleas, all 3 cats are still scratching like mad a week later and they are not happy at all. They are pretty much sulking and staying away from us, not normal behavior for them. Now that I've read these terrible results from this product, I want it off my cats!! NOW!! It's so oily! How do I safely get this stuff off my cats who are severely afraid of the bathtub?? I've used a wet paper towel to try to wipe it off but that's not really helping much. I don't want my cats to suffer any ill effects from a stupid so-called all natural flea product...wish I knew about that sooner! I will never buy anything from this brand again. Make SAFE products for our pets!
