(More customer reviews)I must admit I was very skeptical about this, but decided to give it a try out of sheer desperation, and based on the favorable reviews on Amazon.I've got a flea issue with my bedroom carpet, and have tried sprays, continuous vacuuming, boric acid treatments, and dosing my pet with Frontline & Advantage products.While the Advantage works pretty darn well ON the pet, the carpet was still infested no matter what I tried. I plugged in this little contraption on the floor next to my bed, and within TWO HOURS I've already captured 18 fleas, and can actually SEE them hopping across the carpet to get to the trap! I think this is a brilliant, safe, pesticide-free solution to dealing with those pesky little ankle-biting devils that hide in the carpet! I'll continue to vacuum, but I intend to keep this thing plugged in at all times to grab the ones that get away or are newly hatched. Don't hesitate to buy this product!

(More customer reviews)My (indoor) cat contracted fleas about a month ago and I used the Zodiac spray on the carpet, upholstery, curtains, and mattresses as I went about treating the apartment.I also used the Zodiac sponge bath (2 treatments/bottle, used both) and one course of the Frontline topical medicine.Today I was brushing my cat and found more fleas.My vet informed me that they have heard nothing but complaints from pet owners who've used the Zodiac products.

The label claims that: "One treatment gives continuous protection against pre-adult fleas for 7 months."I used the spray generously but here I am 1 month later right back where I started.

Just treating my 2-bedroom apartment for fleas is a costly and tedious task.If you're going to go through this, make sure you use the BEST products available.Talk to your vet and explore ALL your options.GOOD LUCK!

(More customer reviews)After having tried Frontline Plus for my pets and that not working for one of my dogs I decided to get the spray and use that for my large Weimaraner and our cat.It seems to be working great.I like that I can apply it more often than the topical Frontline Plus and that it works for animals of all sizes.I think that some dogs benefit from Frontline and others it just doesn't work.My other dog it didn't work and I have been using Advantage on her.

(More customer reviews)So it would seem that there are a lot of fleas outside this year. We don't even have pets and we have fleas inside now. I guess they hitchhiked in on our clothing. Now they are inside and having a ball biting us. We've been sweeping a lot because I read that is the most effective thing to do. However there are those they get away. They don't want caught. They always seem to be finding us. So I picked up a couple of these traps. They seem to work well at attracting and catching the stragglers. The trap is basically a nightlight bulb suspended over a grid that has a sticky pad under it. The fleas are attracted to the heat and light from the bulb and jump at it and then fall through the grid onto the sticky pad. I know you can do the same thing with a lamp and a bowl of soapy water on the floor but these traps are nice because you can grab them and move them around easily without accidentally spilling or having to change the water all the time. My kid leaves it alone too, he thinks it is his new nightlight. I don't think we have a bad infestation but I caught the most the first couple of nights and then it has dropped off to a couple now and then so I think sweeping and these traps have been helping and will soon eliminate the fleas. Overall I think this trap is a great supplement to whatever arsenal you choose to use in the battle against the fleas.
